EQUINE FLU DIAGNOSED IN SURREY
We have just heard that Equine Flu has been diagnosed in Surrey. A yard in the Crawley area is involved.
We recommend that if your horse has not been vaccinated, it is worth starting vaccinations now. If he or she is fully vaccinated, but hasn't had a vaccine within the last six months, it is worth considering giving a booster. To monitor your horse for equine flu, please watch for any nasal discharge, fever or going "off feed". Please be careful taking your horse's temperature - we don't want anyone injured if your horse objects to the procedure.
Please call the clinic with any queries you may have. We will endeavour to keep you informed as we hear more.

VAT increase for 2011
4th Jan 2010
We are sure you are all aware that VAT has risen to 20%.
In
addition to this, we are under a bit of a financial squeeze
in the current economic climate, so for the first time in
three years, we have had to raise our prices. To help our
clients avoid the VAT rise and our small price increases,
we
have a scheme where prompt payment attracts a 5%
discount.
Please read your Newsletter, or speak to the office or one
of
the vets for more information.
