STOP PRESS Equine Influenza Outbreak
Equine Influenza has just been confirmed in one premises in Reigate in Surrey. Mayes and Scrine do not have any clients at this premises so have had no contact with this outbreak. We are awaiting more information from the Animal Health Trust concerning the origins of the outbreak and we will make sure we keep you up to date with any new information as it comes in. Please contact the clinic or one of the vets to discuss the significance of this for you and your horse(s).
Laurence O'Hara
We are extremely pleased to be able to announce that Laurence O'Hara has now returned to the practice. Laurence has already slotted back into his previous role and, in addition, is acting as main in-house surgeon taking advantage of the updated surgical facilities.
Client Evening Meeting
Thank you to all those who attended our client evening on Wednesday 3rd March. There was an excellent turnout for the three talks, New Worming Strategy, The Facilities at Mayes and Scrine, and Fat Horse Slim. For those of you who have missed our lectures but would like to hear one of them, please let us know. We intend to re-run some of the lectures in the small conference room at the Clinic (once we have some chairs)! Please let us know at the clinic if there are any lectures you would like to attend and we will compile a list.
Clinic expansion
It seems a while now since we moved into our new spacious office and the new equine facility is now fully up and running. We still need to develop our small conference room. Once this is done, we will be re-running talks done by our vets at client evenings for those of you that have missed them in the conference room. Please call the Clinic and let us know if you'd like to attend a particular talk and we will start to compile a list.
Summer Event 2010
We will be holding our Summer Event on the afternoon of Sunday 11th July at the clinic. Our latest newsletter is rolling off the press just now so please await your copy for more details.
Practice newsletter
